ABSTRAK

Teh merupakan salah satu minuman terpopuler yang memiliki banyak manfaat bagi kesehatan. Pegagan adalah tanaman yang memiliki daerah penyebaran sangat luas, terutama didaerah tropis dan subtropis. Tumbuh merayap menutupi tanah dan tidak berbatang, biasanya digunakan untuk mengobati mimisan dan dimakan sebagai lalapan. Telah dilakukan pembuatan teh herbal dari pegagan dengan cara menjemur dibawah sinar matahari selama beberapa waktu dengan tujuan mengurangi kadar air sehingga memiliki daya simpan lebih lama dan dapat dikonsumsi kapan saja. Telah dilakukan analisis pada produk dengan hasil Uji Kualitatif Profil Metabolit Sekunder : Alkaloid (-), Steroid (+), Flavonoid (-), Tanin (+), dan Saponin (+), Kadar air 6,1 %, Uji Angka Lempeng Total <3,0 x 10³ (1,9 x 10³ ), serta Uji Organoleptik yang menyatakan bahwa produk ini disukai masyarakat secara umum. Dari hasil ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa produk ini layak untuk dikonsumsi.

ABSTRACT

Tea is one of the most popular beverage that has many health benefits. Gotu kola is a plant that has a very wide spread of areas, especially tropical and subtropical areas. Growing creeping ground cover and not trunked, usually used to treat nosebleeds and eaten as vegetables. Have been made from the herb gotu kola tea-making by way of drying in the sun for some time with the aim of reducing the water content so it has a longer shelf life and can be consumed at any time. Analyzes have been conducted on the product with the test Secondary Metabolites Qualitative Profiles: Alkaloids (-), Steroid (+), flavonoids (-), Tanin (+), and saponin (+), Water content 6.1%, Test Total Number Plate <3.0 x 10³   (1.9 x 103), And Organoleptic Test stating that these products are appreciated by the public in general. From these results it can be concluded that the product is suitable for consumption.
